The shop
I opened my first shop because I loved coffee. I almost lost it because nobody warned me how much the work has nothing to do with coffee.
The first year was a blur of staffing call-offs, inventory surprises, and customer complaints I didn't see coming. I was the owner, the closer, the trainer, the bookkeeper, and the person fixing the espresso machine at 6am.
What we built
I started writing things down. Checklists on receipt paper. Recipes on the back of brown bags. SOPs in a Google Doc that nobody read.
Slowly, the chaos turned into a system. The system turned into a shop that ran without me drowning. And that system became Daily Grind OS.
Why now
We're operators, not just developers. Every module ships because it solved a real problem on a real shift. Nothing in here is theoretical. Nothing is consultant-speak.
