Question 1

What is Daily Grind OS?

Accepted Answer

Daily Grind OS is a customizable operating system for independent coffee businesses. It combines SOPs, training, checklists, inventory, recipes, and performance tools in one operational framework.

Question 2

Is this software, or a system?

Accepted Answer

Both. Daily Grind OS is software organized around shop procedures Karyl developed while running Joe 2 Go. Those procedures shape how the tools work.

Question 3

Can it work for my shop?

Accepted Answer

Daily Grind OS is built for independent coffee shops of many formats. It supports cafés, drive-thrus, coffee trailers, retail roasters, and small multi-location coffee brands.

Question 4

Is it customizable?

Accepted Answer

You can edit, branch, or rebuild every checklist, SOP, recipe, and training path. No two shops need to use it exactly the same way.

Question 5

Does it help with training?

Accepted Answer

Training is the largest module. Onboarding paths, role-based content, and verification help new hires become bar-ready in days, not weeks.

Question 6

Can multi-location shops use it?

Accepted Answer

The Multi-Location plan ($129/month) includes centralized dashboards, cross-location reporting, and multi-manager permissions. It also includes cross-store recipe and SOP sync. The Single Location plan ($79/month) covers owner-operators running one café.

Question 7

What's the difference between the Single and Multi-Location plans?

Accepted Answer

Single Location is for owner-operators running one café. Multi-Location adds a centralized dashboard, cross-location reporting, multi-manager permissions, location-specific tracking, and standardized SOP sync.

Question 8

Is this only for coffee shops?

Accepted Answer

It is built for coffee-first businesses. Beverage operations with bars, recipes, and shifts will also feel at home.

Question 9

Does Daily Grind OS connect to my POS?

Accepted Answer

Daily Grind OS is POS-independent by design. Your POS handles customer transactions, while Daily Grind OS handles recipes, training, SOPs, inventory, costs, scheduling, and team operations. Your team can update operations without changing the system that rings up customers. It never becomes another customer-facing dependency required to complete a sale. Use the POS that works for your business; Daily Grind OS works alongside it.

Question 10

Is it live?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Daily Grind OS is live and available today. Start on the Pricing page, then build with the systems you need.

Question 11

Who is Daily Grind OS built for?

Accepted Answer

Daily Grind OS serves independent coffee shop owners seeking better systems for training, recipes, SOPs, inventory, costs, scheduling, and team operations. An independent coffee shop owner created it after building systems in a real business and training more than 150 employees. Daily Grind OS is a newer platform. It addresses operational problems drawn from years of firsthand coffee shop experience.
